After more than seventy years of dedication to craftsmanship, in 2024 Taihe Shaofang—the bearer of Mr. Zhang Yuanyong’s brewing legacy—formed a strong merger with Guizhou Renhuai Guofeng Liquor Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Qidian Guofeng (Stock Code: 1280.HK), a Hong Kong-listed sauce-aroma baijiu enterprise. Through this transformation, it officially transforms into Shengjiu Distillery, gaining stronger capital supports and a broader strategic vision.

Excellence in Quality

The brewing techniques at Shengjiu Distillery are fully inherited from legend in Chinese liquor industry, Mr. Zhang Yuanyong. Quality control and blending are supervised by Fu Yuhao, the Chief Engineer of Brewing, Chinese Sauce-Aroma Baijiu Master Brewer, and National First-Class Sommelier. In addition, renowned experts—including Mr. Chen Xingxi, former Deputy Chief Engineer of Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd. and member of the National Liquor Tasting Committee—have described "Shengjiu" as: “slightly yellow and crystal-clear, with a prominent sauce aroma; distinct grain and aged notes; a harmonious and comfortable composite aroma; balanced and full-bodied taste; rich and mellow texture; long and lingering aftertaste; enduring fragrance in the empty glass—an classic Daqu sauce-aroma baijiu style.”
